Hangingwater Music: gigs, sessions, functions, composition, arranging, producing…

From our Sheffield base we do:

We are:

Tim Moorhead

Tim hit Grade 8 piano in his teens and since then has played every size and shape of keyboard from Casios to Steinway Grands. Branching out into woodwind and brass he has played with multiple bands in multiple genres and is now following a masters degree in orchestral composition. He is fluent in DAWs including Ableton and Cubase, and both live and studio production and arrangement. In the studio he contributes everything from tenor sax to percussion, and his compositions range from jazz and baroque to EDM.

Hamish Cunningham

As a wee small thing Hamish played bass for Jonid, and still treasures his original Shergold Marathon. His first full-time job was trainee engineer at Woodbine Street recording studio before turning to the dark side and working in AI and open source for too many decades. He started out engineering on full analog systems including Soundcraft desks and Studer multitracks, and after flirting with Ableton is happiest back in the (almost) analog world of Harrison MixBus (running on Ubuntu GNU Linux, of course).
